Chelsea Piers has been empowering kids through sports, ensuring all New Yorkers have access to an active and healthy lifestyle.
Chelsea Piers Foundation has provided scholarships to over 11,000 kids and partnered with respected non-profits to offer classes, camps, and teams to low-income families across NY.
This spring, lace up your running shoes for a run with high impact. Join Chelsea Piers Foundation’s team at the 2025 New York United Half Marathon on Sunday, March 16, 2025!
Each runner will be responsible for crowdfunding a min. of $1,000 benefitting the Chelsea Piers Foundation. Each runner is expected to raise the full $1,000. Runners are responsible for covering a separate race registration fee of $160.

Each runner helps:
10 NYC public school students learn to swim
2 young people compete in a season of youth soccer
One aspiring ice skater access skating lessons
5 community fitness classes at the Hudson Guild community center
Grants to peer organizations like Hudson River Community Sailing and Peter Westbook Foundation’s for fencing
